  • In this era, it is important to master knowledge about materials used to design a machine that might maximize the utilization. The researcher designed and made Fatigue Rotary Bending test machine. Fatigue is a condition that indicated by a material damage in the machine’s work performance, efficiency, achievement, weakness and fatigue. Fatigue might get worse. For instance, it can suddenly appear, acute and last. In this fatigue rotary bending test machine designing, the designer has to select appropriate components that fit the machine. In this study, the researcher used specimen st 42 as the testing material with ASTM E – 466 test standard. The result of the study showed that 1400 rpm machine rotation was needed to move 0.4 kw axis. Furthermore, specimen endurance test showed that the lowest level was 1hr 20mns 46sc with 22kg loads and the cycle (n) 11760 tension (σ) 179,53 kg/mm2 . Besides, the highest endurance level was 1hr 15ms 46 sc 14 kg loads amd the tension was (σ) 114,25 kg/mm2.
