  • Background:In 2012, Regional Development Planning Agency(RDPA) cooperating with University of Haluoleoconducted community satisfaction survey towards government health care in carrying out public services. The survey shows that health services in the hospital reach 57.33 based on CSI (Community Satisfaction Index). It indicates that health services provided in the hospital in 2012 were perceived bad. Objective: To figure out the relationship between the quality of health service and inpatientÂ’s satisfaction level at District General Hospital of Muna. Method: This study applied analytical observation method with cross sectional design; meanwhile, the sampling technique used was accidental sampling (314 samples). The data of the study were analyzed by using Pearson correlationtest and multiple regression at the reliability level of 95%. Findings: The relationship between the quality of health service and inpatientÂ’s satisfaction level showed a value of 1 and Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 at each dimension with Pearson value (reliability=0.643, responsiveness=0.806, assurance=0.868, empathy=0.670, and physical evidence=0.657). Through multiple regression test, the regression coefficient reached 0.670. Conclusion: There was a significant relationship between the quality of health service and inpatient's satisfaction level at District General Hospital of Muna.
