  • This undergraduated theses mostly tells about moral messages contained in a comedy drama in YouTube Media. The comedy drama entitled Malang Melintang is produced by Malang Strudel which tells about the daily activities of the employees of Malang Strudel’s outlet. Besides containing comedy elemen, Malang Melintang also contains moral message that the researcher categorizes into three categorizations, namely moral of religion, moral of social, and moral of psychology with twelve sub categories. The research method used in this thesis is quantitative method with descriptive approach and content analysis research technique. The object of this research is the comedy drama “Malang Melintang” produced by Malang Strudel in cooperation with Bedasinema Pictures. In this case, researchers observed and selected from 24 episodes to 10 episodes with a total of 83 scenes, and chose two coders or helpers to maket this research easier. The results of this study indicate that the categorization of the social moral became the most dominant with the frequency of occurrence of 56 times with the percentage of 45%. This shows that human cannot live alone without others. Humans are social beings who need the existence of other humans to interact with. The targets of the moral message of Malang Melintang are the general public with sub indicators of adults and children. The goal of the moral message content of the comedy drama is universal, so not only adults can watch the show, but children can also get positive values in this comedy show.
