- Todays, the number of selebgram hijabers exposing their life-style, especially in terms of fashion, in their instagram account was one of the new phenomenon. By that phenomenon, the researcher interests in analyzing the instagram account of @aghniapunjabi to investigate the representation of urban hijabers’ life-style. Semiotics analysis with descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study as well as using theory of Charles S. Pierce Triangle Meaning. The data collection technique in this study used documentation and observation. Furthermore, @aghniapunjabi’s instagram post on March to April 2018 was used as the data collection. Hence, this study was aimed to give clear description about urban hijabers life-style representation on @aghniapunjabi instagram account. The result obtained by Charles S. Pierce semiotics analysis was Aghnia Punjabi show the characteristic of urban hijabers woman with the symbol shown through dressing style for instance, her hijab-style varies in different occasion supported by the accessories, mix and match of her dress, and the background of her photo which polish her fashion –style. To sum up, this study obtained the meaning of sign occurs on @aghniapunjabi’s instagram account. Indeed, what Aghnia Punjabi wears on her instagram account was fashion life-style which admired by hijabers women.
