- This study aims to determine whether there is a correlation between students' perception on cross interest program and students' learning outcome in English subject at SMAN 1 Tumpang. To know the students' perception, data collection through questionnaires that have been distributed to the respondents as much as 36. Before the data collection, the questionnaire tested first the validity and reliability using Cronbach’s Alpha. Meanwhile, to find out student learning outcomes, data retrieval through document analysis. The results of the research showed that there is correlation between students’ perception on cross interest program and students’ learning outcome in English subject at SMAN 1 Tumpang, it is proved by sig. (2 tailed) is 0.035 < 0.05. Therefore, it means that null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. And from the data also abtained that is r = +0.352 < 0.5 showed that the students’ perception on cross interest program and students’ learning outcome in English subject have a positive (+) correlation, which means the higher students’ perception on cross interest program, the higher students’ learning outcome in English subject. Otherwise, if the students’ perception on cross interest program is low, students’ learning outcome in English subject is low too.
