The theory used to analyze this problem is the theory of Adorno and Horkheimer with the concept of commodification. Commodification is one of the ways or strategies undertaken by capitalism by transforming the value to be the exchange rate. Cultural commodity in Sade hamlet by making culture as a tool which is traded to tourists to get economic benefit. The result of this research is culture as tool of commodification has lost its inherent value existence. The inherent sacredness in a culture gradually shifts as it has been placed on what is not supposed to be. Culture has been forced to follow needs and demands of the market, so in the reality there are some parts that were deliberately omitted.
