- PT Molindo Raya Industrial is an organic fertilizer processing company. Companies are faced with high damage problems with rotary dryer machines. The Company carries out the entire treatment (overhoul) 3 times a year and then with corrective maintenance system in case of damage. Based on the problems, it is necessary to develop engine maintenance system based on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). The objective of the research is to identify the problem of rotary dryer machine damage based on RCM method and repair plan by determining component replacement interval to minimize Total Minimum Downtime (TMD). The result of data processing RCM method, component in category condition Directed (CD) that is component of switch, burner, electric motor, gear ring, bear ring and water inlet pipe. Components in the category of Time Directed (TD) are fins / fin and scrape blade. Components in the Time Directed category are calculated for component replacement interval based on TMD criteria. The calculation result of component replacement interval was found 25 days for fins / fin components and 35 days for scrape blade component. The proposed treatment of RCM method can reduce downtime 21.54% of the company's maintenance methods.
