- Local wisdom is the basis for building regional and national strengths in various fields, as well as providing a direction for renewal in welcoming the future of a civilization. Therefore, local wisdom is one of the most needed knowledge in forming dedicated people. Research purpose is explaining about: (1) Describing and finding out about local wisdom in Sole Oha of Mustafa Bakir text among Lamaholot Lewo Ulun community in Ile Ape sub-district Lembata Regency East Nusa Tenggara, (2) Describing and finding out about local wisdom functions in Sole Oha of Mustafa Bakir text among Lamaholot Lewo Ulun Community in Ile Ape sub-district Lembata Regency East Nusa Tenggara, (3) Describing and finding out about local wisdom meaning in Sole Oha of Mustafa Bakir text among Lamaholot Lewo Ulun community in Ile Ape sub-district Lembata Regency East Nusa Tenggara. This research uses qualitative approach. Activity done is collecting information and analyzing social community condition whether individual or based on tribes, to determine the objects. Data source in this research is Sole Oha of Mustafa Bakir texts consist of fifteen transcription (texts). Data collection technique are interview and documentary. Data analysis technique used are data reduction, data serve, and conclusion. Research reveals, (1) Local wisdom in Sole Oha of Mustafa Bakir text among Lamaholot Lewoulun community in Ile Ape sub-district Lembata Regency East Nusa Tenggara focused on local value, which each of them has form, function, and meaning; (2) Local wisdom in Sole Oha of Mustafa Bakir text among Lamaholot Lewoulun Community in Ile Ape sub-district Lembata Regency East Nusa Tenggara focused in local value in form of religious, social, and cultural; (3) local wisdom in Sole Oha of Mustafa Bakir text among Lamaholot Lewoulun community in Ile Ape sub-district Lembata Regency East Nusa Tenggara found seventeen religious value, twenty three social value and nine cultural value. Conclusion from this research is, local wisdom in Sole Oha of Mustafa Bakir text among Lamaholot Lewoulun community in Ile Ape sub-district Lembata Regency East Nusa Tenggara can be found and understood by tracing Lewoulun history and doctrines.
