- Jombang District is one of the centers of consumption of freshwater fish producing in East Java in addition to Tulungagung district and Kediri. The production of fish consumption of freshwater fish include catfish, carp, goldfish and other Ticino developed fairly well in every subdistrict of 21 districts. With the potential possessed by each Subdistrict there are some areas Jombang District are categorized into areas designated by the Government which agropolitan Jombang District region development program through agriculture, fisheries & farms. Method of data collection in this study using a purposive sampling method. Sampling was done deliberately according the criteria of a sample is required. In this case the target research to provide a sample of the interview are employees of local authorities, namely the Fisheries Agency officials of Jombang District, while the target for the Division is the fish cultivators questionnaire consumption in the region of Jombang. The results of this research is calculation using SWOT analysis stated that consumption of freshwater fish farming in Jombang District is in quadrant I, i.e. as efforts support the strategy aggressively, a strategy that is made with utilizing the entire force to seize and exploit the opportunities of most so that they can lead a strategy SO (Streght – Opportunity).
