- Common snakehead fish (Channa striata) is a fish that has many benefits in the medical and industrial world, so that common snackhead fish of required through the process of cultivation. Constraints in the common snakehead fish cultivation is the limited natural feed and artificial feed is appropriate to increase the amount of consumption feed and maximize the value of feed conversion ratio. The purpose of this research is to determine the best percentage of cake fish feed to give the amount of feed consumption and FCR (feed conversion ratio) of common snakehead fish seeds so that it can replace the natural feed with artificial feed as a whole. This research was conducted in Nutrition Laboratory and Fisheries Laboratory of Faculty Agriculture - Animal Husbandry of Muhammadiyah Malang University. The method used in this research is an experimental method using Completely Randomized Design. In the study there were five treatments with the addition of different sead meat Decapterus sp that is 40%, 45%, 50%, 55%, 60% and control by using Tubifex sp. Each treatment was repeated three times. Fish feeding into cake formed formulated is given in at-satiation for 30 day. The main parameters used include feed converision ratio (FCR) and feed consumption level. Then analyzed using ANOVA and continued with SLD test. The results indicates that the effect of fish feeding into cake formed formulated made a significantly influenced (**) of and amount consumption feed F.Calculate 8,99 > of F.Test 5% (3,48) 1% (5,99) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) F.Calculate 6,55 > of F.Test 5% (3,48) 1% (5,99). Water quality research ranged between 28-35 oC, dissolved oxegen ranged between 2.2 -7.8 mg/l and pH ranged from 7.7 to 8.9. The conclusion of this research is P4 treatment of addition sead meat Decapterus sp 55% was the best feed with and the highesh amount consumption feed 25,4g and the lowest FCR 1,07.
