  • Shading is a condition where a portion of the PV surface gets unequal solar radiation. This results in the PV output power decreasing drastically so that the MPPT system is needed which can achieve maximum power during shading conditions. The Bat algorithm is used in the process of finding PV power during shading conditions. In the first study of hardware makers, it was a converter buck and MPPT bat algorithm program using Arduinomicrocontroller. The results of the test obtained the results of MPPT with bat algorithm capable of producing output power of PV of 45,22 W when shading 25%.
