  • Vegetables is one of the agricultural products which are essential for national food security. For improve national food security, in particular mustard, tomato and chili needed serious steps to improve its production. The increasing need for food organic and pesticide-free make developing some appropriate technology to reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers and chemical pesticides. One of the technologies that can be used is the use of biological fertilizers. Biological Fertilizer (biofertilizer) is a fertilizer containing microorganisms that can growth promoting and productivity plant. Microbes are important constituent of biofertilizer include Bacillus SP., Pseudomonas SP., as a bacterium is phosphate solvent, Rhizobium , Azotobacter sp sp, Azospirillum sp and Acetobacter sp as nitrogen fastening system. Celulomonas SP., Lactobacillus sp as organic matter breaker and microbes producing antibiotics or hormones. This research was carried out by using a Double Strip Plot Design using two factors, namely the types of plants as the main plot and the frequency of biological fertilizer as subplot and have a three times of repeated so that there are 45 units of the experiment. Based on the results of this reasearch shows the interactions between species of plants occur with frequency allotment of biological fertilizer on plant height observation parameters (starting at 2 WAP) the number of leaves (2 WAP) and stem dry weight. The frequency allotment of biological fertilizer three times the highest value on a parameter number of observations of leaf and stem diameter. Tomato plants showed better growth response than plant mustard greens and chili peppers after the treatment frequency the granting of biological fertilizer
