  • Political parties need a large public space for its existence. Perindo, even as a new-formed party, has a potential to grab good amount of votes in 2019 electio due to it’s infamous advertisement, “Mars Perindo (lit. March of Perindo)”. Hary Tanoesoedibjo, the leader partisan marks his ambition in this song. He also the founder of MNC Group, a media company who also own several television channel, thus give him the right to control the contents in his media. This is the reason why the researcher narrow its thesis, by telling which are the signs of his political ads in MNC’s television. Also, the purpose of this thesis is to expose Hary Tanoesoedibjo political image he made in his political ads, “Mars Perindo” 2nd and 1st November Version. This research is using Chandler Sanders Peirce’s semiotic analysis with interpretative qualitative approach. There are five stages in analyzing, the first one by assembling the scene with breakdown table. The second one to analyze the selected scene with triadic structure. Third by analyzing audio and lyrics in “Mars Perindo” ads. The fourth one by dividing their characters based on the first stage. The last one, by describing the data identifaction in advertisement study. The result of this research concludes that in Mars Perindo 2nd and 1st November version showed Hary Tanoesodibjo political image as a caring, low profile and tolerant to any religions, races, and tribes in Indonesia.
