Ad is related to the growth of media as a place to advertise. today, the internet is one place that is widely used by companies to sell products, one of which is internet advertising shaped the web series. At the beginning of the development of the web series Indonesia, very many found the web series with the concept of the story local nuanced, then Bukalapak as a company online marketplace advertise using the web series of Medok Pendekar Jari Sakti that uploaded on youtube site. Observe that is packaged with the concept of web series, will be bring trough a variety assumption from the audience in a positive or otherwise. This study aims to knowing how the appreciation of the film community towards the advertising web series shaped created by Bukalapak. The subject in this study is 5 people selected from different backgrounds and incorporated in Kine Klub UMM, as the film community at the campus to get a diverse views. The study used a qualitative approach to descriptive, is then performed by carry out a focus group discussion about the appreciation of the web series, using a phase the discussion includes of the content, concept, and context. In this study found some differences and similarities of views in response to the web series because the activities of the appreciation involving knowledge, experience, to the feelings in its implementation.
