This can be done by heavy equipment companies that play a role in the industry to have a strategy or a proper promotional activity in the face of the crisis that occurred. The purpose of this study is "To know what are the promotional activities at PT United Tractors Tbk Balikpapan City in the face of global crisis". The research method used is qualitative descriptive with sampling technique through purposive sampling with some criteria that have been determined. This study is cited on the concept of promotional activity (mix promotion) that describes how to run an effective promotional mix that is grouped into promotion mix, sales sales, personal sales, direct marketing, public relations and brand equity. There were seven research subjects who provided data through interviews and technical data documentation. Seven subjects from employees of PT. United Tractors Tbk. City of Balikpapan. Result of research related to promotion activity of PT. United Tractors in the global crisis conditions is a company that has been running promotional activities in accordance with the concept that is being used and the company itself is more focused on sales promotion activities, personal sales and advertising in the face of the current global crisis. During the process of conducting interviews and research in the company, researchers also found companies in marketing and promotion activities performed by all departments, lack of marketing departments and all departments involved in the process.
