- The culture of claim action has caused concern for Indonesia. In its efforts, the inauguration of the Saman Dance as cultural heritage of Indonesia conducted by some of the parties concerned. There is the role of local governments and the Central Government. The role of Aceh’s people who heavily promote Dance arts performances through Saman. the role of the media covering and disseminating news about Saman Dance. In addition, the Review of the problem of cultural claims Indonesia by foreigners as well as fears of loss of great value in the Saman Dance. Thus in order to protect cultural assets in this case Indonesia Government register the Saman dance to break into the Representative List Of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Get recognition will Dance Saman Gayo heritage no objects from UNESCO to establish the national identity of a nation is a form of soft power of the Republic of Indonesia in approaching other Nations, because of the importance of maintaining and protecting the Indonesia cultures that have lots of cultural diversity. The type of research used is explanative. In this study the strategy of diplomacy Indonesia as the independent variable and defining Dance Saman in the Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage as variable dependent.
