- Prosocial behavior is an activity or action that children need in the current sosialiszation period that provides experience of sosial relationships during childhood adjustment in preschool. Storytelling is some methods that can be used to promote the positive behavior for early children because it is interestingly delivered and not boring ways. The purpose of this study to improve procosial behavior in early childhood by using storytelling method of islamic stories. The subjects of this study were children aged 5-6 which is numbered 14 children. The study used quasi experimental research method by comparing the results of Pre test and Post test in control group and experiment group. The result of this study is that there is procosial behavior in preeschool children using storytelling either in control group or experiment group by the following test value : (Z = -3,21; p = 0,784). Storytelling affects proactively and provides an increase of 71,4%. Storytelling of exemplary Islamic stories reflects positive behavior in children and stimulates the values of prosocial behavior in an imaginative way.
