- Social problems that occur in children from year to year increase. This is due to aggressive behavior inherent in the child. These conditions if not prevented and dealt with quickly in a suitable way will have a negative impact on their lives later. One way is to deliver imaginative stories. An imaginative story makes the child act right and takes the appropriate aggressive action in place. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of imaginative story use in an effort to reduce aggressive behavior of children. This research is a type of Quasi-Experiment with One Group Pre test-Post test design. Subjects as many as nine students aged 4 - 7 years from Kasih Ibu kindergarten, selected using purposive sampling method. Preferred subjects have aggressive behavior over 20% of aggressive scale indicators. Subjects treated were selected first using an Intelligence test. Data were collected by observation and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed aggressive behavior on average decreased 26%. Different test results show Z score of -2,680 and probability of 0,007. The conclusion of this research is to convey an imaginative story for six days with different titles, effectively affecting the aggressive behavior of children.
