- The phenomenon of divorce that is currently rampant in Malang district precisely in Kasembon District of Malang Regency is divorce is actually done by the woman known as divorce lawsuit. Significant increase occurred in 2017 that is up to 20% from the previous year. The wife's social act of divorce in Kasembon District has several different meanings of divorce on each individual. It can be identified into several types of social action that include instrumental rational action, rational action values, affective actions and traditional acts. Besides, the phenomenon of women's social action in doing divorce, in this study was studied by using feminism theory which includes liberal feminism, radical, marxist and socialist. Based on the title of Women's Social Action Sues Ceremony Kasus District Kasembon District Malang then the researcher uses a qualitative approach in the form of case studies. While the sampling technique uses deviant case sampling with sampling with systematic sampling. This is done so that this research can be done well, valid and accurate. The result of the research shows that the social action done by the wife in suing her husband divorce can be classified in the type of social action that is instrumental rational, rational value, and affective. Besides the wife's social actions in suing for divorce contains the meaning of divorce, among others: ending suffering, freedom, getting better and independence. As according to feminism theory of social action wife who sued for divorce in Kasembon District Malang Regency can be categorized in Liberal Feminism, Socialist and Marxist.
