- This research is about AusAID's role in education development in Lombok Tengah District through the AIP Project. AIP is a framework for cooperation between the Indonesian government and the Australian Government. By doing development in the education sector, it will help the Government of Indonesia in improving the quality and governance of the education system in the context of national development. The author uses the concept of international cooperation, the concept of foreign aid and roles. The research method and technique used in this study is a qualitative method with literature study. The test results in this study indicate that the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID through the Australia-Indonesia Partnership (AIP) with the application of the 4 main components of implementing education assistance has been instrumental in efforts to develop education in Lombok Tengah District
