- One form of communication is through email (electronic mail). Email works like a machine and currently e-mail not only contains text, but can also be images, video, sound and even animation. Build with one server requires performance and high specification then to reduce the load from a server itself it takes the division of the server into multiple parts or multi server. Build multiple mailserver itself is the right solution to solve the problem. Zimbra includes a free licensed email application that has many complete features as well as ease of installation or mail server management, Zimbra collaboration suite can prove to be successful in creating a reliable and efficient mail server. In a mail server an email service in charge of sending and receiving an email then store it into a mailbox called MTA (Mail Transfer Agent). This research uses Zimbra by using MTA service (Mail Transfer Agent). In this research the testers perform testing using MTA server to perform a monitoring and checking email sent and received between server has been successfully done.
