- Clove flower separator machine is a tool used to separate the clove flower from the stalk using an electric motor as the main driver. To help farmers with low-grade clove industry who still use average hands (manual). Before starting the design first must do a research of spaciousness and collecting data from clove farmers. Pahl and Beitz designing consists of four activities or phases, each of which consists of several steps. The fourth phase, is planning and explanation of the task, the design concept of the product, the design of the product shape (embodiment design), design detail. Based on the results of field research and data from clove farmers obtained a design of clove flower separator machine with a capacity of 186 kg. The motor as the main mover will move the separator cylinder with the transmission v belt then the power will be transferred to rotate the eccentric clutch that will move the filter.Sources of calm on the engine using power of 1.2 Kw.
