- The symbolic difference in wages occurring in female farm laborers in Sumberbrantas Village whereas with working time and work intervals more or less the same as male farm laborers, but the women laborers still receive low wages and women farm workers still receive them for free. That's the story that becomes an interesting entity to be studied while confirming the existence of the habitus within the wage system of female farm workers. This research method uses qualitative research and phenomenology approach, this research seeks to explore and explain the habitus in the female farm laborer wage system in Sumberbrantas Village. Technique determination of research subject used is purposive sampling and data collection method with observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using Pierre Bourdieu's habitus theory. The results of this study indicate that the habitus in the female farmer's wage system in Sumberbrantas Village is a form of resignation caused by economic demands and low educational background, the dogmatism of masculine symbols such as male labor is stronger and has such a heavy job role angkat-angkat and nyemprot, then toward a more established process of habitus that is regenerating gender differences in wages that are rolling up to now. Bourdieu says that habitus is a mental and cognitive structure that suggests the agent's social action. Women farm workers receive wages in a gender-based system that actually marginalizes them because female farm workers in their habitus positions suggest it.
