- The purpose of a company is to get the maximum profit that can be used for the viability of the company. The percentage of a company's profit is often used as a benchmark of a company's success. Achievement of profit requires the implementation of the appropriate management strategy within the company, earnings are affected by three factors, namely selling volume, selling price, and costs incurred. The number of the profits obtained is influenced by the costs, selling prices, and sales volume that is interconnected each other, for it required a good plan for corporate targets can be achieved. The cost-volume-profit analysis presents information relation of cost, volume, and earnings at a company that facilitates in analyzing the factors that influence the achievement of profit in the future. This study was aimed to profit planning in 2018 at the company Agung Mitra Collection Malang. This study was a research of case study on garment company. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Interview and documentation were used as the data collection. This study used indicator of contribution margin, break-even point (BEP), the margin of safety (MOS), operating leverage, shut down point, and profit planning. The results showed BEP mix was Rp 768.733.360,35, the margin of safety of 66,29%, operating leverage is 1,51, shut down point of Rp 644.296.903,66. Profit plan in 2018 was amounting to Rp 28.639.887,48, the company must sales number reaches Rp 2.293.256.374,27 to make the profit planning in the company can be achieved.
