  • In industry of heat exchanger temperature controllers, there are some disturbances that can affect the performance of heat exchanger system. The disturbance is a change in the outside temperature that goes into the heat exchanger. To overcome such a system, it requires control techniques. In this research, the technique of feedback control and cascade control with fuzzy-PID method were used to make the performance of the system more stable. The testing result of Cascade fuzzy-PID control technique showed that some data indicated performance used in the system. They were rise time (tr) = 3.4933 seconds, overshoot (mp) = 19.00 %, and peak time (tp) = 112 seconds. Furthermore, there was also response of feedback control and cascade control with fuzzy-PID method. Cascade control technique played a role in handling the changes of system parameters, while the combination of fuzzy-PID overcame the interference. The combination of feedback control and cascade control techniques with fuzzy-PID method can make the performance of the system more stable and overcome the interference.
