- Disaster mitigation is activities to minimize disaster loss, both casualties and properties. One of those activities are designing an early warning device. This study was conducted to design an early warning system dealing with the landslide. The system is expected: 1) to give earlier information the authorities, officers, and volunteers thus they can do some acts to reduce the impacts, 2) to ease the information access. The information can be accessed through the Web and Android-based devices. This research applied the shift ground sensor and the soil moisture sensor. The shift ground sensor employs the ultrasonic waves to measure the distance. The soil moisture sensor as an input of caution levels. The outcome of this inquiry is a Web and Android-based landslide early warning sytem. The researchers expect this system enables the user to do some acts to reduce the impacts of landslide.
