- This study aims to determine the significant differences in returns and risks of conventional stock investments with Islamic stock listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period January 2015 - December 2017 and to know which stock types have high returns and low risk. The rate of return is calculated based on the closing price of the stock per week and the risk of using the standard deviation. The method used is comparative research. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference in returns and risks of conventional stock investments with Islamic stocks. Stocks with the highest returns are in conventional stocks, and the lowest risk is in Islamic stocks. Based on the results of hypothesis testing shows that the acceptance of Ho and the rejection of H1.
