- This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction and motivation towards employee performance at Putra Masa Depan Cigarette Company. Population in this research is the employee of production section at Putra Masa Depan Cigarette Company which is taken specially on clove cigarette production which amount of 50 employees. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. Data collection used is questionnaire by spreading the questionnaire to the object to be addressed. Analytical technique used are range of scale and multiple linear regression. Based on the result of the scale range analysis shows that employee performance reached 146.3 which is sufficient. Job satisfaction reached 181 which is classified as good and motivation 213.5 which is very good. In this case, the influence of motivation is better than job satisfaction. Job satisfaction variable and motivation towards employee performance have R Square equal to 63.4%.
