- This study aimed to know and to explain the effects of job satisfaction towards quitting intention with compensation as the moderator variable in Lesanpuro village, Malang. The data used were primary and secondary. There were 61 out of 156 people selected as respondents. Instrument testing was done through validity test and reliability test. The data were analyzed through Likert scale and Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA). The findings showed based on the Likert scale, the job satisfaction was categorized as “low”, quitting intention as “fair”, and compensation as “fair”. According to the results of simple linear regression analysis, job satisfaction significantly affected the quitting intention. The results of MRA analysis stated that compensation moderated the effects of job satisfaction towards the quitting intention of the cadres.
