- Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is damage that occurs in structural or kidney function for ≥3 months or decreased of GFR <60 ml / min / 1.73 m2. The kidney function decrease due to the presence of hyperfiltration and hypertension. ARB as an antihypertensive can lower blood and reduce peripheral retention and decrease albuminuria. Objective : This study aims to determine the pattern of ARB in patients with chronic kidney disease in regional public hospital Dr. Iskak of Tulungagung. Methods: This study was observational retrospective with presentation of data descriptively in CKD patient from July 1 to September 30, 2017 in regional public hospital Dr. Iskak of Tulungagung. Results and Conclusions: The usage pattern of single ARB therapy was in 11 patterns (7%) and a combination was in 148 patterns (93%). Single ARB therapy widely used Valsartan with a dose (1x80mg) PO was in 9 pattern (82%). The most commonly used from ARB combination therapy is 2 combination with 72 patterns (48%). The mostly used from 2 combinations is valsartan (1x80mg) PO, and furosemide (3x40mg) IV with 19 patterns (24%).
