- DC motors are electric machines that are widely used in automobile industry and robotics. When using a DC motor, a method is required to control the speed of DC motor to be stable and be able to reach the desired speed. The purpose of this research is to design the Fuzzy-PID controller with modeling plant and DC motor hardware. DC motor modeling is done by using the identification system toolkit in LabVIEW. Then process the controller block and block modeling DC motor to obtain differential equations which are solved using numerical method approach. The controller design was successfully verified on DC motor hardware produces steady state response with 5.45% overshoot at 2109 RPM at 2.3 seconds, rise time 1.7265 seconds, and settling time 1.6 seconds. If applied to modeling a DC motor, it produces an oscillatory response.
