- This study aims to figure out the optimal purchase of raw materials, the amount of provisions, time for reordering, and total cost of inventory during September, 2016 – August, 2017 at Zulvida Sanan tempeh industry. This study was carried out by means of descriptive quantitative method. The data were in form of secondary data. The data collection techniques used were interview and documentation. Both storage cost and ordering cost were used to analyse the raw material supply of the industry. The findings showed that if the industry used EOQ method there would be savings of Rp. 195.102.78 from the company policy. This was obtained from the gap of optimal annual purchase of raw materials between EOQ method of Rp. 823.351.22 and the company policy of Rp. 1.018.454. A single order with 37 times of purchasing reached 4.987 kg. The amount of provisions reached 427 kg with time for reordering of 5.567 kg.
