- The research background is based on learning mathematics that still conventional. Advances in technology and internet networks owned by schools are not maximally utilized. The utilization of technology which will be utilized as an added value in the learning process in order to increase the students’ attractiveness on learning mathematics. To maximize the potential that exists, then needed an effective media by using web-based learning media. In this research, the method used the research and development method, in which this method requires several steps to produce a product. Some research and development strategies to produce an effective product are as follows: (1) potentials and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product trial, (7) product revision, and (8) trial usage. The instruments are used validation, questionnaires for students’ response, and learning outcomes. The result of this research is showed that web-based learning media has appeal as a teaching material and can be used in learning mathematics. The analysis of data validity of web-based learning media for the material aspects assessed by the material experts obtained 77.5% and for media aspects assessed by media experts obtained 79.5%. It can be concluded that web-based learning media stated very valid. The level of practicality measured from the students’ response and obtained 88%. Then the web-based learning media is considered very practical. Media effectiveness is known from learning outcomes with the percentage of the number of students who passed the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) by 96%, it can be stated that the media is very effective in learning process.
