  • The aims of this research are to obtain information about the implementation of Project Based Learning model on geometry subject in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu and the effectiveness of the implementation of Project Based Learning model in class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu on geometry subject. The type of research used is qualitative and quantitative research with case study approach. Data were obtained from teachers and students. Data collection techniques used are observation and test. Researcher uses instruments such as observation sheets and test sheets. The results showed that the implementation of Project Based learning model is categorized as good with teacher activity level 87,5% and student activity level 87,6%. In addition, the application of this learning model is classified as effective as evidenced by the completeness of student learning outcomes individually and classically.
