  • Moringa is an endemic plant of Himalaya high land in South Asia, from North East of Pakistan, North side of West Bengali in India and North East of Bangladesh. Moringa grow well on 1.400 above sea level with alluvial soil type which usually placed near river side. Moringa is used by many countries as cosmetic, hedge, and traditional medicine. Leaves, fruits, flowers and unripe pod from the plant are used as healthy vegetables in many countries especially in India, Pakistan, Philippines, Hawaii and some countries in Africa. Main factor affects productivity of moringa is superior variety seed that able to adapt in local condition. In agronomical context, seed must be good in quality, superior, and has capability to grow into a healthy plant and produce optimally. This study was conducted in 2 months, from November to December 2017 in experimental field of University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Karyawiguna street, Tegal Gondo village, Karangploso district, Malang. The tools that were used in the study were polybag, oven, balance, ruler, scoop, labels, stationary, and camera. The materials used in this study were moringa seed, manure, husk, soil, water, plant growth regulator (PGR) of IAA, IBA and Atonik. The study used Factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisted 2 factors, first factor was soaking period (30, 60, 90 minutes) and the second factor was plant growth regulator of IAA, IBA, Atonik, and water (control). Total combination of treatments were 12 treatments with 3 repetitions each treatment. In one repetition consisted 10 units of trial, so that there were 360 units of trial. The resulted data were analyzed by Analysis of Means (ANOM) on Minitab program with α level of 5% and were served in graphs. Variables of observation consisted of plant height, number of leaves, germination rate, root length, and seed vigor test
