PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EKSTRAK DAUN MENGKUDU (Morinda citrifolia l) TERHADAP LUAS LUKA LASERASI PADA TIKUS PUTIH (Rattus novergicus) JANTAN
Daftar Isi:
- Background: A laceration wound cause problems if the handling is not good enough and susceptible to infection. Mengkudu leaf contain saponins, tannins, alkaloids, triterpenoids and flavonoids that have successive capabilities of collagen formation, angiotensinogen, antibacterial, astringent and anti-inflammatory. Objective: To determine the effect of giving mengkudu leaf extract (Morinda citrifolia l) to decrease laceration wound area in male white rat. Method: True Experimental, with Post Test only Control Group Design. The sample of male white rat was divided into 4 groups, 1 group of positive control, 2: treatment group was drippedmengkuduextract leaf concentration 5%, 3: treatment group was dripped mengkuduleaf extract concentration 10%, 4: treatment group was dripped mengkuduleaf extract concentration 20%. Analyzed data using Kruskall Wallis, Mann-Whitney test repeatedly. Result of Research and Discussion: From Kruskall Wallis test result there was a significant difference (sig = 0,000 <p0,05) between control and treatment group. Mann-Whitney test results repeated with comparison of each treatment group to positive control group showed significant result (sig = 0.004 and 0.002 <p0.05). Conclusion: Mengkudu leaf extract (Morinda citrifolia l) has an effect on decreasing laceration wound area ofmale white rat (Rattus novergicus).
