- In diplomatic relations with China that has been running for 25 years, South Koreaapplyed cultural diplomacy strategy through the Korean Wave. The strategy brings a positive response to the relationship between two countries. This can be seen from South Korea's national image in the eyes of many Chinese people that has traveling to South Korea, bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of economy as well as in the military field. This study discusses about the influence of Korean Wave among Chinese society, which in Korean Wave has influenced diplomatic relations between two countries. This research is an explanative research by using qualitative data sourced from library study. Analysis tool in this research is Soft Power theory and Culture Diplomacy concept. The result of this research is the Korean Wave which is part of the Korean cultural diplomacy into China and gives a big influence on diplomatic relations between the two countries. Korean Wave contributes to growing cooperation between South Korea and China in the fields of economy, military and tourism.
