- This study aims 1) to describe and analyse the financial performance in the mining companies listed in IDX 2014 – 2016 that provide added value for investors and 2) to figure out which company providing the highest add value. This study was carried out by means of descriptive analysis. The population was all mining companies listed in IDX 2014 – 2016. The data analysis used was Economic Value Added (EVA). The findings indicated that there is a mining company that is able to provide added value for investors due to company’s health financial performance. Hence, the hypothesis of this study is accepted since the EVA value yields a positive value. Many companies listed in IDX 2014 – 2016 achieved EVA value higher than zero and thus could be used for investment.
