- The purpose of the research was to examine the influence of students’ motivation and interest towards Mathematics learning outcomes. This research applied quantitative-descriptive design. Population of this study included all students of SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu. The subjects involved in this research were 106 eighth grade students at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu. The data were collected by using questionnaire and daily examination results. The data were analyzed by using Multiple Regression Analysis. The results of the research showed that students’ motivation and interest influence Mathematics learning outcomes. The results of regression analysis test showed that R square is 4.2% which means students’ motivation and interest influence Mathematics learning outcome. The rest 95.8% is influenced by other factors which are not found in this research. In short, students’ motivation and interest did not significantly influence Mathematics learning outcome.
