  • Background : Feeding behavior is a form of attention to mother against malnutrition in toddlers in nutritional standards required. Toddler nutrition period is directly related to the quantity and quality of food consumption. Socio-cultural factors is fundamental to life and general guidelines are integrated as a system of knowledge of the environment of the community, this researchers interested in researching additional feeding behavior overview on toddler nutrition deficiency. Methods : This study uses descriptive design research, conducted on 86 respondents conducted with probability sampling / proportioned stratified Random sampling. The instruments used are questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and presented in the form of a table. This resarch was conducted on 25 june – 30 june 2016. Result : The results obtained from the 86 respondents that the highest education of Junior High School graduates is the mother of 40 respondents (46,51%), the majority of the work as a housewife with a total of 57 respondents (66,27%), family income below the average minimum wages by as much as 82 respondents (95,6%), mothers with abstinence of eating as many as 71 respondents (82,5%), the level of knowledge of mothers lacking as much as 39 respondents (43,8%), eating patterns in toddlers ages < 6 months which indicates good value just 5 fives (33,3%), toddler age > 6 months which indicates good value 26 toddler (36,6%). Conclusion : The results of research it can be concluded that the socio-cultural behavior coupled with feeding on toddler nutrition deficiency.
