  • Halal Food is in the spotlight because it has a value of profits that continue to rise. Students are the biggest consumption players in the halal market industry. But the behavior of students in consuming halal food is still relatively low. Religiosity plays an important role in purchasing halal food. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of extrinsic and intrinsic religiosity on the intention of buying halal food. Subjects used as many as 350 people with age category 18-25 years. The analysis used is multiple regression. The result of this research shows that there is a significant (F=67,62; P=0,00) influence between intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity variables on the intention of buying halal food on Muslim students with the influence of 28%. Intrinsic religiosity has a positive influence whereas extrinsic religiosity has a negative effect
