  • Storytelling audiovisual cartoon film can be explained as the activity of giving a story using audiovisual involving a deep memory processing, rather than only using text. This theme become interesting to be studied when the subject of the study is children that still in the phase of the middle and final development in their elementary school, remembering that school should be a place for children and give facilities for children, they can learn and know the things from interesting and pleasing things. The under phase of remembering can be solve by giving a therapy using storytelling. Storytelling is directly linked to the remembering ability if we looked to the therapy function which use cartoon audiovisual. The purpose of the study is to give some evidences that storytelling by audiovisual cartoon film can improve the remembering ability elementary school children. Data sampling is using IST ME method of the age 11-12 years old whose have low ability of remembering in the remembering ability IST ME (Z= -3.817; p= 0.005< 0.05) with 10 people as the subject. This study using experiment with one group pre-test post-test design.
