- Tradition of Osing’s in a culture or habitual that’s from ancestors in tribe osing (one of culture in Banyuwangi city). This tribe has different division system of heritage that’s to the widow and adopted childern. By that, writer takes a reason to complete this paper about the system to divide heirs and the solving of problem case of widow and adopted childern in Osing people in Kemiren, Glagah, Banyuwangi. In this research, writer use interview and documentary method then those are collecting data being to be analised. The result of this research is that division has been determined that boys get “sak pikulan” and girls “sak suwunan”. The system of that to divide the heirs has two kinds those are division of heritage before death and division of heritage after death. So, the result of the widow’s division that actually indeed there is no heirs for them. Some of widows called Rondo Kembang, Rondo lanjar, Rondo Kumpeni and Rondo Teles. In another, adopted childern can maintain their right strongly if they already done the dividing of heritage before death in other the family of heirs will not do dividing of heritage after the death.
