- This research aims to analyze student's mathematical communication skills using Reciprocal Teaching model. This research is a kind of qualitative research supported by quantitative data. The subject of this research is the students of class VIII C of SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu. The instruments of the test in this research are observation and test sheets. The test data is obtained by observation to determined the student’s mathematical communication abilities both in verbal and written. The conducted test of this research shows: (1)the student’s ability of verbal mathematical communication through Reciprocal Teaching models is in good category. (2)the student's ability of written mathematical communication through Reciprocal Teaching learning models is also in good category.
