- This study aims to analyze the ability of mathematical connections and creativity of high school students on stories. This research was conducted in MAN Kota Batu. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA 5 with a total of 35 students. Of the 35 students who took the written test in the form of description will be taken 2 students each with good and excellent test category that will run the interview test. Data collection methods used are tests and interviews. The result of analysis of mathematical connection ability and creativity of high school student on the matter of story analyzed by descriptive method got that mathematical connection ability and creativity of class XI IPA 5 MAN Kota Batu has average value which included in very good category.
