- Adolescence is a transitional period from childhood to adulthood that also has developmental tasks to build relationships with the opposite sex. Curiosity that is not balanced with good self-control will tend to lead teens to premarital sex behavior. Future orientation is the individual efforts to determining actions for the realization of the ideals in the future. The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between future orientation and premarital sexual intentions among junior high school students. The method of this research was correlational study. There were 350 participants recruited by simple random sampling technique. The result of this research showed there was negative relationship between future orientation and premarital sexual intentions among junior high school students (r = -0,431 dan p = 0,000)
