  • Good urban forests are often in demand by many tourists, so many visitors come, but the perception (response) of the community related to the urban forest is so lacking that it needs to grow the same perception of urban forests, both from design, policy making and the people of the city have motivation and initiative to manage and maintain it, the purpose of this study is to analyze visitor responses in the Malabar City Forest area to provide information and understanding of visitors to green space in urban forest areas. The method used in this study is a quantitative research method by distributing questionnaires to 200 respondents in the Malabar City Forest area, by calculating the variable score 1 and variable 2, the results of this study in the form of a percentage of visitors' understanding of green open space, with a variable score of 1 ( Green Open Space) stated, 109 respondents or 54.5% understood the function and benefits of green open space and the calculation of variable score 2 (urban forest) explained the percentage of visitors' understanding of urban forests, that 154 respondents or 76.6% understood the functions and benefits city Forest.
