  • Mutual cooperationin in SDN Ketawanggede Malang which is invested through extracurricular scout activity is still low enough, so there is need of open research to analyze mutual cooperation strengthening technique in its application and its teaching through extracurricular scout standby. This study aims to determine: (1) Implementation of strengthening character education of mutual cooperation through extracurricular cub scout in SDN ketawanggede malang. (2) The constraints that faced in the implementation of strengthening character education mutual cooperation through extracurricular cub scout in SDN ketawanggede malang. (3) The solution given in overcoming the obstacles implementation of strengthening the education of mutual help through extracurricular cub scout in SDN ketawanggede malang. This research uses qualitative research and descriptive research type. As a source of data, selected Senior guider cub scout , headmaster, responsible for extracurricular, and cub scout members in SDN Ketawanggede Malang academic year 2017/2018, which amounted to 80 students. This study was conducted in February-March 2018. The result of the research shows that (1) the educational enhancement of mutual cooperation character through the extracurricular alert in SDN Ketawanggede Malang has been seen in mutual respect, cooperation, deliberation, solidarity, inclusive, non violence, (2) the constraint that faced is the lack of interest of teachers in scouting activities and the diverse nature and character of students. (3) the school's solution is to increase the interest of SDN Ketawanggede teachers by participating in scouting basic proficient courses activities as well as giving the teaching and application of character values as often as possible to the standby students. The conclusions of this research, strengthening of mutual cooperation character education in SDN Ketawanggede embedded by group method in the form of attitude of mutual respect, cooperation, deliberation, solidarity, inclusive, non violence and discrimination, help and empathy.
