- A protected forest in Kabupaten Banyuwangi in governance by Perum Perhutani KPH Banyuwangi West with broad area around 42.707,16 ha. Preserved forest area in Gunungsari happened security threats against the preservation of forests, in the form of plunder forest. This study aims to to know the structure and composition vegetation that is found in a protected forest Gunungsari. This study has been held in april - may 2018 in a protected forest RPH Gunungsari BKPH Glenmore KPH Banyuwangi West. The sample taking take in tenement 39, with broad the question is 22 ha. The results of research found there are 33 species of the oak, are scattered over several the level of growth of trees consisting of: the levels seedling 18 a kind of , the level of 22 types of a stake, and the level of a mast 21 type and adult 24 a kind of tree level. The type of tree in that it has value inp seedling is on the highest level kemadu (Laportea sinuata (Blume) Miq.) (INP = 28,38 %), on the level of stake is kemadu (Laportea sinuata (Blume) Miq.) (INP = 42,85 %), on the level of a mast is urang-urangan (Aralia dasyphylla Miq.) (INP = 56,24 %), and adult inp tree level the most on the type of nyampo (Litssea robusta Blume.) (INP = 52,06 %).
