- This study aims to determine the causes of alcohol abuse by alcohol abuse by children and to know the efforts taken by law enforcement officers to overcome the abuse of alcoholic drinks made by children in Batu City. This research was conducted at Police Station of Batu City Police with direct interview technique and tracing of research documents in the field. From the research conducted to produce 2 (two) types of data source that is Primary data number obtained directly through research. while secondary data is obtained from existing data or through literature study. The result of the research shows that factors causing alcohol abuse by children in Batu Town are: curiosity factor, friends follow-up factor, family environment factor, social environment factor, selling factor freely. While the prevention of crime is also varied and tailored also with the situation and conditions in a community environment.
